Esker is committed to cloud-based business applications and offers a 100 percent cloud computing automation solution based on its own technology, platform and infrastructure:
With no software or hardware to install, cloud computing has companies up and running and seeing a positive impact on their businesses in little to no time. Scalable, secure, reliable and affordable, cloud computing offers the simplicity and immediacy companies need to grow their business. Based on a pay-as-you-use model, companies have no upfront costs.
Cloud puts everything in one place and provides faster and more responsive service across every channel. Applications run on a shared data centre based on multitenant architecture and are flexible enough for everyone to customise to their own specific needs.
Esker is one of the first software vendors capable of offering automation integrating the three layers of cloud computing - software, platform and infrastructure solutions. With over 50 percent growth in the past five years, these on-demand services are very popular with companies and represent 40 percent of Esker's sales revenue.
Why SaaS?
Esker believes SaaS is the appropriate model to facilitate the general and widespread use of document process automation solutions.
Instead of installing and managing software, you simply access it via the Internet. SaaS customers gain valuable automation efficiencies without the need to buy, build, and maintain IT infrastructure to support the technology.

|
Over the past decade we have developed the technology to offer a valued document process automation on-demand solution. More than 3,000 customers worldwide and 30,000+ users rely on Esker every day to automate key business processes.

The benefits of PaaS
Cloud computing includes platforms for building and running custom on-demand applications. PaaS provides the infrastructure needed to run applications over the Internet. Offering a faster, more cost-effective model for application development and delivery, PaaS facilitates the deployment of applications without the cost and complexity of buying and managing hardware, software and hosting capabilities. Customers simply use what they need without worrying about the complexity behind the scenes.

The benefits of IaaS
|
IaaS delivers computer infrastructure as a service. Equipment, including storage, hardware, servers, fax servers, fax boards, printing material and network components, is contracted out and customers buy the resources as a fully outsourced service and pay on a per-use basis. Esker owns the equipment and is responsible for housing, running and maintaining it.
With two data centres in the US and France, six mail facilities in the US, France, Australia, Spain, Singapore and the UK and three fax production facilities, Esker's mail, fax, email and SMS infrastructure handles 10 million monthly pages.

SAS 70 certified
The Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 certification is an internationally recognised auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A SAS 70 audit is an in-depth analysis of a service organisation's control over information technology and related processes. A SAS 70 audit is often required by public companies for regulatory compliance control and by companies that want assurance that a service organisation's processes, procedures and controls described in the report are operating effectively. Successful completion of a SAS 70 audit indicates that processes, procedures and controls have been formally reviewed.
Companies rely on Esker to host and process their business documents and financial data. In order to guarantee information security and accuracy, Esker engaged in a SAS 70 certified audit initiative. This certification assures our customers' auditors that Esker has effective internal controls to ensure the security of our customers' data. These include administration responsibilities, physical security and environmental safeguards, logical security, application development, change and incident management, and reliable computer operations (backup, monitoring, reporting, storage and system availability). |
