Esker appoints Andrew Knight to drive growth in Queensland market

Sydney, Australia. — September 23, 2021 — Esker, a major player in IDC MarketScapes for Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), is further investing in its Australian operations to better serve its customers in Queensland. Andrew Knight is joining Esker Australia as Business Development Manager for Queensland starting on 17th September 2021.

Andrew joins Esker from the well-known Australian accounting software MYOB where he held the role of Strategic Key Account Manager for the past eight years, responsible for managing 50 of MYOB’s largest accounts.

Andrew has enjoyed a vibrant career over 25 years, working in trading rooms across Europe, Asia and Australia, for some of the largest investment houses including UBS, ABN AMRO, CMC Markets and Bloomberg.

His greatest passion is his community work. Since moving to Queensland, Andrew has volunteered for The Funding Network, helping to organise its annual Brisbane live crowdfunding events that have raised almost $1 million for grassroots QLD-based non-profits.

Andrew will be managing the relationship with existing Esker customers in Queensland as well as developing new relationships with organisations across various industries where Esker solutions for Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash help drive digital transformation effort.
